Visual disorders are first noticed by shooters failing to achieve a clear target
picture - essential for shooters requiring a well-focused target image. To
achieve maximum performance, best results and optimum target picture
clarity, it is necessary to compensate for eyesight disorders such as shortsightedness
(myopia), long-sightedness (hypermetropia) and astigmatism.
Until now shooters only had shooting frames available - but Gehmann
lately has a system which totally eliminates these imperfections. Adding
our -4.5 to +4.5 dpt. or -5 dpt. to +5 dpt. diopter for spherical disorders
replaces the need for frames completely - with the advantage that you may
infinitely adjust and compensate for all imperfections. Frames also have
the disadvantage that each time your eyesight and prescription changes
- you require a new lens. 579 makes this a thing of the past. Differing light
conditions, eye or body fatigue, fluctuations of blood pressure and blood
glucose or stress-related factors and general ageing also lead to small,
imperceptible alterations in our ability to focus and concentrate - but not
any more.
